Commitment Ceremonies

Gay and lesbian couples are presently excluded under the Marriages Act 1961 but Willa believes it's a human right for all couples to declare and celebrate their love and commitment to each other, regardless of sexual or gender orientation.

Commitment ceremonies are also appropriate for couples who choose not to marry under law and yet want their union to be recognised before their family and friends.

The benefit of commitment ceremonies is that we can dispense with the boring legal bits and come up with a memorable ceremony that is completely about your values and your love for each other.

You can have a commitment ceremony that incorporates many of the familiar elements in weddings,  you can keep it simple and informal, - or even make up your own rituals about corduroy skirts.
